Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the ESS-AG Order Portal (the “Portal”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ESS-AG of Sumner, Missouri operates the Portal.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, business name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, and business type.
- Order details: items, quantities, shipping choices, purchase order references and, for drop-ship orders, the name, phone and address of the farm the order ships to.
- Tax documents: sales tax exemption certificates (such as Missouri Form 149) you provide.
- QuickBooks data: when ESS-AG connects its own QuickBooks Online company, the Portal reads and writes ESS-AG’s customers, items, inventory quantities, invoices and payment status. This is ESS-AG’s business data, used only to run the Portal.
- Basic technical data: sign-in cookies and standard server logs needed to keep you signed in and the Portal secure.
We do not collect or store bank account or card numbers. Payments are handled by Intuit QuickBooks Payments.
How we use it
- To approve accounts, take orders, create and send invoices, ship products and track payments.
- To keep tax exemption records as required by law.
- To contact you about your account and orders.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that run the Portal, under their own privacy and security terms: Intuit (QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments), Supabase (secure database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and our email delivery provider; with freight carriers to deliver orders; and when required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by account type (dealers see only their own orders), and the QuickBooks connection keys are stored encrypted on the server.
How long we keep it
We keep account, order and tax records for as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or close your account by contacting us. Some order and tax records must be kept even after an account is closed.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above.
